There are many ways to give back to our community by partnering with Unyts:

• Become a Volunteer: Volunteers and interns are recruited and trained on a regular basis to assist with presentations, special events, blood drives and office duties.

• Donate Blood: Did you know that local hospitals require 60,000 units of blood each year to treat those receiving a life-saving organ, cancer patients and accident victims? Find a community blood drive near you and help save a life in Western New York.

• Sponsor a Blood Drive: Your commitment to sponsoring a blood drive in Western New York allows local blood donors to find a convenient place to donate. It is easy and rewarding. Unyts provides you with all the tools you need to promote to friends, family, colleagues, and members of your community.

• Sign the Donor Registry: Talk to your family about organ and tissue donation and then sign-up on the NYS Donate Life Registry.

• Make a Charitable Gift: The Donate Life Foundation is the fundraising arm of Upstate New York Transplant Services, Inc. It is a 501(3) (c) non-profit organization that welcomes charitable contributions to fund our community outreach efforts. All donations are tax-deductible and directly support educational programs that increase awareness about organ, eye, tissue and community blood donation.
